This is a takeout location... so call ahead and pick up your pippin' hot pie 30 minutes later. When I asked people where to go for the BEST pizza in St Paul -- Red's Savoy pizza came up consistently as a favorite. IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. The crust is thin, the toppings are generous and the sauce has just the right amount of spice. Nothing special about the appetizers we ordered, so I'd recommend going for a larger pie instead. Pizzas ordered by the pie. 11" or 14". We ordered half meat special, half veggie special. The sausage made the meat half the star.

Worst set of business hours on earth! What Pizza Place isn't open on Mondays or Sunday Afternoons!?!? Good Pizza, Crappy hours...

I order from here too frequently. Pizza and chicken are fantastic! My fiancé ordered the ribs and neither of us was impressed they were just average. I do love the signs they have posted inside the waiting area they are sassy but in my opinion true.

Horrible delivery policy. I'm a patient in a nearby hospital looking for something other than hospital food. They refused to deliver unless I bought 4 large pizzas. Never giving them my business ever again.

Maybe I went on a bad day. Ordered the Meat Lovers and the Eastsiders. To me the pies weren't anything out of the ordinary. Wasn't bad but wasn't as amazing as I had hoped considering the rave reviews here and on trip advisor, just your typical pizza. Other places I've been to easily stand out more. I do have admit the amount of toppings is quite plentiful. An FYI, the toppings are placed under the cheese for those who may prefer it otherwise.

Greasy, delicious food. This is not gourmet stuff. This is just very cheesy, very meaty, have another beer pizza. Very good flavor. You get a lot for your money. They also have a variety of fried food sides that are good, nothing special but good. Take home a greasy pizza and chill out after a long day at work. You can eat salad tomorrow.

Thia is the original take away location, and it's nice if you live over this way and don't have to run downtown. The formula is working because they're popping up all over the burbs. I never understood how the outer edges are always charred, but my husband likes it that way so it works out. Besides the awesome greasiness of the Savoy Special, I think the secret is in the sauce. Can't wait to try all the new spots, and see if they feel as worthy as we are in St. Paul.

The location could easily scare away someone. There are a couple locations in the Mpls area, but this was my first taste of this amazing pizza place. Parking can be hit or miss - it is a small parking lot... but the pizza is so worth the trip! I would have to say this is unlike any pizza you have had before. Yes you may pay a tad more than the common pizza places... but it is a tad addicting. I would highly recommend that if there is a night you are having a pizza and friends evening - this is better than anything else out could get (that's right DiGiorno's... I challenged it...)

Not sure why the big fuss over Savoy's from seemingly everyone I know. Good pizza but nothing out of the norm. Bit too salty for my preferences too.

Best pizza in the world. The sauce is spicy, unique, and very tasty. Cheese is generous & perfect. Ingredients are the best offered anywhere- especially the sausage. The crust is top notch. I would eat this every day of my life if that wouldn't kill me. If you are not eating Red's Savoy at least once a week, you are not living a full life. It's take out, but still my number one fave food to eat, PERIOD.

Same great pizza as the Downtown Location, but if you want carryout this place only takes about 20 minutes. Check out my review of the downtown location for a description of the pizza.

Red's great combination of savory sauce, thin and crispy crust, and plentiful toppings (see pics) make this one of the better take-away pizza's I've had in the Twin Cities. This is an tasty and affordable choice that will be in regular rotation for pizza & movie nights.

A bit spendy, but I never regret going a few dollars over to get the good stuff.

In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
